Welcome to the Wyatt family blog. We are happy you came to visit. We can't wait to tell you a little about us and show you some pictures of everyday life in the wyatt family. To start let me tell you about our favorite Christmas tradition. Every year we buy a few new ornaments that represent new or fun things that have happened throughout the year. Our first year we bought a bunch of silver rings and a forest of aspen trees since Tom proposed with a carving in an aspen and we got married. The next year we got a Bear Lake ornament since we were in Bear Lake. We also have a blue Volkswagen bug since we like to play slug bugs. This year will be the year to get a baby ornament since Talin will celebrate his first Christmas (outside the tummy). We are also thinking of getting a camper trailer for the tree since we lived in one in Bear Lake this summer. It was so fun to be next to the beach all summer.
2008 has been a big year for us. We had our first Child, Lisa bought a business, Tom switched jobs a few times, we moved twice, and we hope this will be the year tom gets on to a department so he can keep working toward his Paramedic. This has been the year for firsts, along with those already listed we also have Talins first words, his first food, first crawling steps, first tooth, first ambulance ride (we fell and hit the pavement, everything is ok), and Talin might take his first steps by the end of the year.

Merry Christmas everyone. Talin's smile in this picture is enough Christmas cheer for me. I can't believe we got this shot. Talin will be almost 10 months old for his first Christmas. We have been reading him a new Christmas book every day since the first of the month. (Thank you Aunt Brenda) He loves to turn the pages and push any buttons that are on the books.
